Peer review policy

Double Blind Peer Review System

To guarantee anonymity in the review process, neither the authors nor the research center should be identified in the text.

The review is performed by pharmaceutical peers. The articles are first reviewed by the members of the editorial committee. Once this first assessment has been passed, their scientific quality is evaluated anonymously by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the subject matter (see Peer Review Guidelines).

Authors receive the communication about the results of the evaluation of their work within 8 weeks from the reception of the article and must make the proposed modifications within 15 days after the communication. It is convenient to indicate the changes in the modified text (e.g., in a different color or over-illuminating the text). If the modified article arrives after the proposed deadline, it will be considered as a new manuscript.
